We are an experienced attorney certified as an employment and labor law specialist by the Minnesota State Bar Association, two associates, and a talented staff. We combine the efficiencies and personal service of a small firm with the experience, vision, and judgment of a large firm.
We know that the approach to a problem that is appropriate for one client may not be best for another. Organizations have different goals, different values, and different risk tolerances. We work with you to clarify the desired results; and then we achieve them.
This firm is a broad-based resource for organizations of all types seeking answers to personnel-related questions and the defense of personnel-related claims. The practice spectrum ranges from complex litigation (including federal and state trial and appellate courts, administrative agencies, and arbitration) to management tools (including policies, procedural guidance, and training). When litigation is appropriate, we conduct it with insight and precision, which achieves client results effectively and efficiently. When consulting or training is appropriate, we help managers handle acute personnel issues, and we help management plan for fundamental personnel changes. In addition to legal advice, we provide a range of services to help organizations communicate and operate with their employees more effectively.
We employ advanced, industry-leading technology to manage cases, harden security, communicate effectively, and respond rapidly to our clients and their needs.
Our clients include organizations in a number of areas, including governmental subdivisions and agencies; accounting; communications; construction; education; entertainment; food service; health care; manufacturing; personnel staffing; and real estate development. They range from local startups to regional organizations to well-established nationwide corporations.
In order to address client needs comprehensively and effectively, we work with a network of established, professional consultants who have expertise in areas other than law. They include recognized figures in forensic accounting, organizational development, workplace investigations, performance management, employee coaching, industrial psychology, and other areas.
